The order email you received should have 'Your product key' followed by an email address and a product key. If those are the things you're entering, then it seems like a problem with the activation server and not what you're entering. There used to be a problem with the Ace activation server, but I thought that was fixed a long time ago. In fact, I just got a new laptop a couple of days ago and installed Ace on it, and I activated it today, using the email address and product key as shown in my order confirmation email, and it worked okay for me.
